Design Notes

The arabinose had to be upstream of the CpxR. Also, the sequence had to be tested because of a deletion on the arabinose promoter.

The test was done by attaching superfolder GFP to CpxR (once on its C terminus and one on its N terminus) and inducing its expression. The results, which are positive, can be found in the sfGFP cpxR composite parts (both N and C terminus).

GFP CpxR : BBa_K1486002

CpxR GFP : BBa_K1486005

Source

The CpxR comes from the genome of E coli, and the arabinose promoter comes from a biobrick.
